Silvia Scali is project research assistant for the 'Tacitus' project, within the department of Design and Applied Art at Edinburgh College of Art.
She completed her post-graduate studies at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in December 2001.
During this time she explored the existing relationship between creativity and computer, particularly questioning how computers shape the notion of "author" and the artist's quest for discovery.
She has previously worked in industry, as a designer for the web and as interaction/interface designer.
