Profile

I am particularly concerned with the intersection between theory and practice and pursue this interest through exhibiting, contributions at academic conferences and critical writing.

My artistic practice now centres on printmaking and explores the possibility of an aesthetic characterised by repetition, seriality and simulation. Seriality permits various modes of display and site-specific installation.

I am researching the aesthetic and cultural implications of repetition as a mode of representation in its affinity with technological media. My aim is to contribute to the epistemology of theory and practice, as well as a theorisation of graphic art practices.

I also plan to develop the digital aspect of my work while continuing to employ conventional print methods in order to examine the reverberations of a digital aesthetic for older modes of production.
