Profile
As a figurative narrative painter, I reveal stories and characteristic of the places I research. I remain absorbed by the immediacy, intimacy and hand skills of the drawn and painted image and its legacy. I wish to re-examine the possibilities of place and locality within the drawn and painted image.
My artwork has been exhibited in public and private galleries in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Oxford, Cyprus and London amongst others. In recent years the work has become a personal reportage of the places I have worked and travelled to.
