Profile
Etching has been my major medium since the 1980s. I make images which explore architectural space and light. Free of narrative and chronological references, these images suggest figures and ambiguous spaces surrounding them. Digital photographs often combine with deeply etched surfaces that block the photograph, making the viewer aware of the framing and selection of the subject that they view through the picture plane.
