Profile
My general areas of research are architecture, urban design, urban development.
I have participated in a number of international conferences, presenting original papers, most of which were selected for publication. I have a key role in developing the RIAS's (Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland) research strategy after working as a consultant for the organisation since early 2005. The RIAS undertook this consultancy in order to improve and expand the knowledge base of the profession. As a project manager for the organisation I have also coordinated a number of specific research proposals such as "Health & Happiness - The workplace in the 21st Century". I have also a key role in the WCP international research project which has led to further research proposals on place making.
