The atmosphere at the College is truly international. In the current year, 22% of our students are from over 70 countries. The rest of our students are from all over the British Isles. The international mix of students adds a valuable global dimension to our educational programmes, widening horizons and offering new perspectives to students and staff alike.

The College offers outstanding opportunities: those studying Art and Design will find themselves working in world-class studios in a deeply cultural city renowned for its galleries, museums and the Edinburgh International Festival. Those involved in Environmental Studies will appreciate Edinburgh's unique built environment, which contrasts the medieval Old Town with the Georgian elegance of the New Town.  The city also offers access to resources, such as the Royal Botanic Gardens, and is not far from the beautiful wilderness of the Scottish Highlands.
