Merger with the University of Edinburgh
Edinburgh College of Art merged with the University of Edinburgh on 1 August 2011.
At a result of merger, Edinburgh College of Art has combined with the University’s School of Arts, Culture and Environment to form a new (enlarged) Edinburgh College of Art within the University containing:
- School of Art
- School of Design
- ESALA (Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture)
- History of Art
- Music
