The College opens its doors to the public at various points thoughout the year for its exhibitions and events.

Open Day

For those interested in studying at Edinburgh College of Art, our Open Day takes place annually on the last Friday of October.  Whether you've already got your heart set on studying here, or you're just not sure yet, our Open Day is tailored to provide you with all the information you might need through a programme of talks; the opportunity to visit studios and meet students; information desks where you can consult staff; and advice on building a portfolio.

Tours
For those who cannot make the Open Day, we are offering a series of short afternoon visits to the College.  These sessions will give prospective students and their parents the opportunity to visit the College for a campus tour.  These tours will take place on the following dates:

Friday 24 September 2010
Friday 26 November 2010
Friday 29 April 2011
Friday 27 May 2011

Places on these tours are limited and must be booked in advance.  If you would like more information or would like to book a place, contact Sarah Colegrove, Student Recruitment Officer.

June Visit Day

In June 2011, we will be offering a Visit Day to coincide with our annual student Degree Show.  This Visit Day will offer students, teachers and parents the opportunity to visit the Degree Show and to find out additional information about studying at Edinburgh College of Art.

Teachers' Forums

Edinburgh College of Art also hosts annual Teachers' Forums.  These popular events provide a unique way for teachers to find out more about the College, what we offer students and how they should apply.  Dates for our next Teachers' Forums are not yet set but if you would like more information, please contact Sarah Colegrove, Student Recruitment Officer.

Disabled Access
The campus is wheelchair accessible, with automatic doors, lifts and toilets all suitable for wheelchair users. However, access to some studios and departments is limited and departments will ensure that classes and tutorials are undertaken in accessible spaces.

The main campus is equipped with a Deaf Alerter fire alarm system and the main lecture theatres are fitted with induction loops.

For more information about disabled access to the College please see Accommodation and Student Support.
