individual learning account (ILA)
ILA Scotland is a scheme set up by the Scottish Executive to help anyone aged 18 or over and living in Scotland pay for courses. If you earn £18,000 or less, ILA Scotland can provide you with up to £200 towards the cost of your learning. You just need to pay a minimum contribution of £10 for every course undertaken using your ILA account.
Edinburgh College of Art is a registered learning provider with ILA Scotland and all of the Summer School adult courses are eligible for the ILA Scotland £200 offer.
To set up an ILA Scotland account please contact ILA Scotland on 0808 100 1090 or visit www.ilascotland.org.uk. When you have an ILA account you may book an Art Studies or Summer School course using part or all of your ILA funds. Please note, for Summer School, your ILA funds will be used towards the balance of your Summer School
